The bell don't resonate as long as wind chimes and create a softer tone that doesn't become annoying. I selected these bells because I prefer the quieter sound compared to regular wind chimes. They fit the bill perfectly.
great sound (tons of sound) may be a little overwhelming in high wind areas. My favorite wind chime, it's beautiful and different than most garden variety wind chimes.
